The dogs who come into their care are strays, from pounds or simply dogs whose owners no longer can or want to keep them. Unfortunately, there is a growing demand for rescue services in the current climate, as more and more unwanted dogs find themselves in need of new homes. Their job is to pair each dog with the best new owner for it, ensuring that it will be safe, cared for and loved for the rest of its life.

A surprise Birthday gift found me shooting in, arguably, one of London's most beautiful areas. Meeting Cookie the Cockapoo in Kensington was fantastic. We spent the day playing at Cookie's home and I certainly got the impression he did indeed feel it all belonged to him! Chasing him from room to room, crawling under and over every piece of furniture in the house we eventually both collapsed and shared a big plate of biscuits (thanks Marisa!).

My last job Before Christmas found me on Clapham Common with the Stately Talisker and the boundless Oban enjoying some winter sun in an early morning photoshoot with their fantastic owner Rayna.
It's their normal stomping ground so they were both relaxed enough to get some amazing pictures for Christmas!
The sprawling beauty of Clapham Common made the perfect backdrop for this shoot and I had a great time chatting with Rayna while the dogs played.

An amazing day with the cast and crew of "The Session".
Capturing production still photography for their media campaign, the day proved to be something of an eye opener! The startling cast with Kerry Bennet and Jim Mannering brought the incredible script (written and directed by Hilary Manning) to life.
One of the friendliest shoots I have been to, the crew were all very helpful allowing me the freedom to capture the shots we needed to tell the story of the production.

More often than not it's the familly of the animals we shoot that make a photography session so much fun!
This was definitely the case with the stunning Conan and Xena. Their owners - Alex and Jacina - spent as much of the session playing with them as I did!
A great day with some timeless memories captured.

London's parks are amazing places for photography. People and their dogs are often at their most relaxed in their usual stomping grounds so we decided to do a shoot on Wandsworth Common with the fantastic Debbie and Elvis. A chance to get some great action shots with Elvis and some of his friends and some great, local, dog friendly cafe's made for a great day out.

I am delighted to announce that I have joined the team at "Paw Pixels" as their London Photographer.
I’ve always been surrounded by dogs, cats, tortoises, rabbits, and fish, and their personalities have all affected me. (Yes, even the fish!) My cat Blarney may be the grumpiest cat in London, but life wouldn’t be the same without him. Every animal I meet has its own unique personality, and capturing that in my camera is the best reward for being a photographer I have found yet.
Head over to Paw Pixels to see their (our!) fantastic work photographing animals around the world.
